About Us
The Creative Stitching Center is a craftperson’s dream. Whether learning to sew, knit, crochet or embroider, our mission is to develop a love and appreciation for the art of creating.

The Center, located in Clinton, Maryland, is a place for sewing enthusiasts, imaginative quilters and creative minds alike to gather and share visions in a safe communal place. We offer classes from beginner to advanced needle work (sewing, embroidery, crochet, knitting, quilting, etc.

We pay homage to the past sewing circles where women gathered to not only learn from their elders, but socialize. With more than 50 years of combined experience, you will take pleasure and comfort in being a part of a community where you are among people of all ages, beliefs and ethnicities.
Session Description
Intermediate Sewing
6 weekly 2.5 hour sessions, $100
Saturdays, 10 am – 12:30 pm
Tuesdays, 9:30 am to 11:30 am
Hands-on sewing instructional classes for novice sewing enthusiasts as well as classes for more advanced students. Meet with Instructor Cristal to discuss interest, take measurements, and develop shopping list.
Beginner & Intermediate Sewing
6 weekly 2.5 hour sessions, $100
Thursdays, 1 pm to 4 pm
Hands-on sewing instructional classes for novice sewing enthusiasts as well as classes for more advanced students. Meet with Instructor Cristal to discuss interest, take measurements, and develop shopping list.
SPECIAL : Sip and Sew
One 5 hour session, $50

Beginning Crochet
6 weekly 2.5 hour sessions, $100 or $20 per session
Wednesdays, 10 am – 12:30 pm
Hands-on crochet instructional classes for novice enthusiasts. Learn to slip knot, chain stitch, hold yarn, create magic circle, and a variety of stitches. Bring your own yarn and hooks or purchase from bin.
Beginning Knitting
6 weekly 2.5 hour sessions, $100 or $20 per session
Fridays, 9:30 am – 12:00 pm
Hands-on knitting instructional classes for novice enthusiasts. Learn to cast on as well as the knit and perl stitches. Bring your own yarn and needles or purchase from bin.
